Practice details / fees

Most patients come to the practice by way of personal recommendation from either previously treated or existing patients.

Sports Practice Injury

Patients are also regularly referred from local GPs/Group Practices, suffering from musculo- skeletal problems.

Many local companies refer employees for treatment, normally within 24 hours of their injury. Other patients come through self referral, local advertisements, Yellow Pages and web links.

Osteopathic Treatments during Pregnancy

All patients are asked to settle payment (either cash or cheque) at the time of treatment.

Sometimes a spouse or partner's private medical health insurance may cover your osteopathic treatment. Please check.

Please be aware that a fee may be charged for non-attendance or cancellation without 24 hours notice.

Keeping and Cancelling Appointments

Please do try to give us at least 24 hours' notice of any change in the agreed appointment time. In the case of a late cancellation (less than 24 hours from the time arranged), unless your time slot is subsequently taken by another patient, we may charge you a late cancellation fee.

If you do not cancel your appointment and do not turn up, there will be a 39 full fee missed appointment charge.

Outside normal practice hours, please leave a message on our 24 hour telephone answering service.

Treatments are usually booked on the hour and half hour. Sometimes, during the course of the day, certain treatments may require a little more time or overrun. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are happy for you to bring along a relative or friend as a chaperone. For patients under the age of 16, we will insist that a relative or guardian over the age of 18 must be present during all consultations.
