"I suffered debilitating
back pain...
regular appointments have resulted in me being pain-free
and fully mobile..."

Mrs Coffey, Broxbourne

The Practioner

Paul graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 1998 after studying for 5 years. He also has a Diploma in Massage and is a qualified ITEC Sports Therapist.

Paul is a member of the British Osteopathic Association and registered with the NHS Directory for Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.  He is also registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

The GOsC, established by The Osteopaths Act 1993, provides for the regulation of the Osteopathic profession. Under the provisions of the act, anyone calling themselves an Osteopath has to be registered with the GOsC. To be registered an Osteopath has to be insured and competent, having undertaken training at an accredited college, and undertakes Continuous Professional Development (CPD) each year.

Paul‘s interest in osteopathy developed due to a back injury for which, after going down the conventional routes, he was advised by a relative to see an osteopath . He was suffering acute pain, pins and needles and numbness to his right leg and was unable to work for weeks. After his first treatment Paul saw an immediate improvement and reduction in his symptoms. After having further treatments the symptoms disappeared and his back felt better than it had for years. Paul then decided to re-train as an osteopath.

Paul believes in encouraging and enabling each patient to take responsibility for their own health.

He is also recognised by various private healthcare insurers including BUPA,  AXA PPP, WPA, HSA, CIGNA and Norwich Union.
